Civil cases take time. Many run for years through trial and appeal, and the outcome turns on the evidence and the court's docket, neither of which any lawyer controls. A favorable judgment is also not the same as money in hand. Collecting on it can be its own contest. We tell you this at the start, give you an honest read on the strength of the evidence, and weigh settlement against trial in plain figures. Where a claim needs protection, we consider attachment or injunction early, before assets move.

Questions
Honestly, it varies a great deal with the court's docket, the issues, and whether the other side appeals. Many civil cases run several years from filing to final judgment. The consultation gives you a realistic picture for your venue, and an early read on whether settlement is the faster path.
Often a demand letter and good-faith negotiation resolve the matter without a full case, which is usually faster and cheaper. The firm weighs both routes candidly and tells you where each is likely to lead. We file suit when it is warranted, not by reflex.
Not always, and no lawyer can promise it. A judgment in your favor still has to be enforced against the other party's assets, and that depends on what they own and whether it can be reached. This is why securing a claim early, through attachment where the law allows, can matter as much as the judgment itself.
